How to Mint an NFT hosted By Minty Place
Minty place’s goal is to be a significant contributor in on-boarding of irl artists and collectors to the blockchain. As such, we have created a little help guide for those who need help minting below. See our guide on how to install Metamask if you don’t yet have metamask installed.
This tutorial will cover:
1. Minting on Mobile
2. Minting from a PC
3. Minting to a Gift Card (coming soon)
Minting on Mobile
For minting on mobile, it is recommended to use the MetaMask app for iOS or Android.
In your MetaMask app, go to your wallet, and be certain to select the same blockchain as the collection you are minting on. The most common is ETH but check with the artist/founder/team of the collection you are looking to mint.
Make sure you have enough funds for the mint + gas fees.
Go to your browser tab on MetaMask app.
Navigate to your mint page in your metamask browser.
When prompted, Connect.
Now the collection mint page will load and you will be ready to mint.
Select the amount of tokens you would like to mint by pushing the up and down buttons.
Hit MINT.
Hit confirm button.
You can click on the success message at the bottom of your screen to see the transaction.
Congrats, you’ve just successfully minted NFT(s)!
Minting on Desktop
Minting on Desktop is recommended to be done using MetaMask extension for Firefox or Chrome.
In your MetaMask app, go to your wallet, and be certain to select the same blockchain as the collection you are minting on. The most common is ETH but you should ask the artist/founder which chain prior to minting.
Now go to your browser tab and navigate to the mint page.
When prompted to connect, Confirm.
Refresh your page and the page will load with the collection info
Select the amount of tokens you would like to mint by using the up and down arrows.
Hit mint button when ready to mint.
Confirm the Mint in your wallet
You will be able to confirmed it minted by clicking on your metamask activity tab
Congrats, you’ve just minted an NFT!
Minting to Gift Card
